Storied Stay is a full-service boutique Vacation Rental Management company serving Southern Vermont.

Our primary focus has been on providing an exceptional guest experience at historic properties. We currently offer a selection of private homes and cottages in Manchester, Vermont. 

We specialize in marketing your vacation rental property on globally recognized third-party platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) to maximize your exposure and occupancy. We also market directly to our existing database of repeat guests to book directly through our website to offer significant savings on platform fees.

We market each property’s unique attributes while keeping our portfolio of properties small so we can focus on giving each vacation home the attention it deserves.

Whether you’re already renting or new to the industry, there is revenue to be generated when not using a vacation home for personal use. However, it is important to do it right. Owning and managing a vacation rental can take a lot of work.

 

About the Owner

I consider myself a steward of historic homes; whilst in my lifetime I merely act as custodian in preserving the character of these unique dwellings – and the stories which they tell – for generations to come. 

In addition to operating Storied Stay, I work for a big bank. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont, Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland, and Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Throughout my career, I’ve done a lot of business travel both domestic and global; I’ve achieved Lifetime Platinum status with Marriott/Starwood. Although when I travel for pleasure, I choose vacation home rentals for a comfortable stay.

Places I’ve traveled to: 30 of 50 states, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Peru, Romania, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.

Places I’d like to visit next: India, Colombia, South Africa, and Morocco.
